Nice, quiet and well-manicured campground. The location is a nice break from the heat and humidity of the July sun. We enjoyed the Sat, nite pot-luck and gospel music. Expect to see us again on a return visit.

Had a good relaxing stay. Sorry my new laptop downloaded four updates and used up most of your WiFi time. You should put in a new rule on your rule list that lets people know your WiFi is limited on time. Then you won't have to get upset and knock on their RV doors and tell them you cut them off in what I think in a rude way.

Owner's Comment: I need to respond to this because it is an issue we have to deal with daily. Our internet connection is by satellite through HughesNet. We have the most generous bandwidth plan they offer for business customers - 1200MB over a 24 hour period. This may sound like a lot, but it's not when split up between 20 or more users. The penalty for exceeding this limit is being shut down for 24 hours. And on several occasions, we have been shut down because someone decided to download a movie, a bunch of music, 100's of pictures, or let their new laptop download all of the updates from Microsoft. For this reason, EVERYONE is cautioned about the bandwidth limitations when they are given their userid and password for the WiFi. They are specifically asked not to download music or movies, play streaming videos or online games.

We monitor usage, but this is manual process that happens as time permits. On average, most folks use 20-40MB over a 24 hour period (some a little more, some a little less). So, even with 20 or 25 folks online, we have enough capacity with a comfortable cushion. However, when someone uses 150-200MB (or in this case 650MB) it can be a problem.  Normally, we can identify a problem early enough that we can simply warn the person that they are using too much bandwidth and this is usually sufficient. But if not, we will disable their userid rather than let them make everyone else lose their internet access. However, sometimes a problem becomes really big before we are aware of it. Then we have no choice but to cut the person off immediately before any further damage is done. In this case, all the Micosoft updates put us right on the very edge of being shut down. We didn't get shut down only because there had been relatively light usage from the others on the system. However, it was still necessary for us to turn off the system for a few hours until our 24 hr usage rate dropped.

These are nice folks who have been here a number of times and I feel bad that they think I was rude. I did go to them to tell them that I had disabled their userid and why. However, I didn't think I was rude about it. I apologize if I was.

We stayed at Mountain Stream June 28-30, 2010 and loved it. It is the nicest and most peaceful campground we have been to. We have found our home away from home and plan to go back as much as possible. We drove to Marion on Wednesday night to see and hear Preacher Dean Silver who was the pastor we came to Christ under his preaching 37 years ago. Seeing him and his precious wife, Carolyn, made the stay so much more rewarding. We also met some very nice people in the park. We really wanted to stay longer than we reserved but our site was already taken. We stayed on site 23 and loved it. All the sites are very nice.

Been on the road 3 weeks and this is the nicest RV campground we've found. Clean, quiet, beautiful and your personal touch really shows. Wish we could stay longer.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mountain Stream. The campsites were well don and the creek was very soothing. Butterflies galore with pretty flowers too. You provided a very "at home" atmosphere and had everything we needed. If you needed the bath house, it was clean and fresh. A real highlight was the Saturday night southern gospel singing by Brothers Redeemed - fabulous! We'll definitely visit again; thanks for a great 5 days!

We have been coming to Mountain Stream Campground for several years. It is a very clean and well maintained park. It is quiet and sure is relaxing with the stream nearby. We were excited about the cable TV. Thank you Ron and Becky for making this a truly wonderful mountain get-a-way.

This is our 2nd visit and we enjoyed it as much as the 1st time. We received the same spot which we really liked. The campground is very, very clean, orderly and the grounds well maintained. The restrooms were the best. We have recommended this place to friends and they loved the grounds too. We rate this as our favorite and our #1 campground. Ron & Becky, you're #1 too. Thanks.

This is our third time visiting Mountain Stream and we don't know why we don't come more. Beautiful area, refreshing night times and always great music on Saturday night.

This is perhaps one of the nicest RV parks we have ever stayed in - waking up in the morning and looking out of our rear living room window at the beautiful creek is something I have only seen in magazines! How wonderful! It is sooo quiet here and the grounds are so well kept! I love the flowers you have everywhere! We wish we would have found this when our boys were younger. They would have loved the creek and basketball court! You have done a wonderful job! We hope to make it back here next year on vacation. Thanks.

This is the second time we have stayed here, and it is still a great place! Everything is so tidy and our neighbors were very friendly as well. Ron and Becky were very nice (as always) and made sure we were aware of all the activities they had going on this weekend. When we come to the mountains, this will be where we call home!

This is our 2nd time staying at Mountain Stream RV Park. We stayed 5 nights here and this RV park is so beautiful and quiet. The neighbors were friendly. Ron & Becky are very friendly and helpful. They have a lot to keep this RV park very nice. WE JUST LOVE IT HERE! We will be back next year. Take my advice and stay and you'll keep coming back. The boys had a wonderful time fishing in the creek as well. *One thing that I personally would like to see here is a washer & dryer so we wouldn't have to go into town.

Owner's Comment: We really would like to put in laundry facilities for our campers (and ourselves). However, because we are a commercial facility and our close proximity to the stream, the local regulations make it unfeasible. We aren't allowed to hook into any of our existing septic systems (we have five) for the laundry facilities. For just two washers, we have to put in two additional 1500 gallon tanks with a filtration system between the tanks and six 150' runs. Even if the cost wasn't prohibitive, there physically isn't enough room to install such a system.

We had a wonderful time camping here. Our boy had a great time in the river catching fish. The bathrooms are so clean; it's like being in someone's home. It's a beautiful campground, there are so many things to look at. We will be back.

We have completed a ten day stay at Mt. Stream RV Park and are pleased to report that it's still our favorite camping park. Between our first stay last year and this year's visit, we travelled to California. During that trip, we found only one, possibly two, RV parks that even compare to Mt. Stream's clean restrooms, attractive parking areas and the relaxing sound of running water from the creek.

We came here for 3 days and stayed a week. It was a very quiet, well-kept campground. The owner went out of his way to answer questions. He provided a map and labeled local restaurants which was so helpful. We stayed by a little babbling stream with little fish which was so relaxing. This campground was the perfect place to explore the areas on/around the Blue Ridge Parkway. We camped here in a travel trailer.

Our family has camped at many places in western North Carolina over the years and none of us can think of a private campground that we love more. I guess that's what's kept us coming back for the last decade and why a second generation of our family joined us in their own camper on our last trip. The grounds and facilities are meticulously maintained, the surroundings are beautiful and Ron & Becky always go out of their way to make campers feel welcome.

How refreshing to be in an RV park that is so neat. The landscaping is very much unusually great. The bath house is remarkably nice. What a relief to be in a campground without drunks with loud noises. Oh how good it is to have God here with us. You can feel his presence in everything. Only one thing that could be negative is the vegetation as you enter the highway-obstructs the view of the road.

One of the best, if not THE BEST, campgrounds in NC mountains. Campground is clean and well maintained. The creekside sites are wonderful & fun for kids. Fishing is excellent there too. The campground is centrally located to many attractions including Biltmore & Grandfather Mountain. Will be back for sure.

Enjoyed our visit to Mountain Stream RV Park. The park is beautiful, well maintained and quiet. It was nice being so close to the Parkway and other attractions. Having WIFI and cable was a plus. Look forward to coming here again.

My dad asked me last night if this was a nice campground - without even thinking about it, I said "I think this is the nicest private campground we've ever been to". Now that I have time to think about it, that's still true. Beautiful! Sites are well spaced, well landscaped & everything is spotless. The sound of the stream lulled is to sleep (& we didn't wake again until morning).

We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Stream RV Park. The bathroom facilities were extraordinarily clean and the curtains providing privacy between show stalls was an extra plus! The cleanliness of the campground and landscaping were great. We like to travel and sight-see, so the central location to many area attractions was wonderful. The wi-fi hookup was great and easy to access. Being a smaller campground, we felt safer here more than any other campground we have stayed at. The stream was beautiful and the sounds it provided were very calming and therapeutic. The next time we visit the mountains, this WILL be our campground of choice.

Among all of the RV camps we have been since a month all over Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina and then here in N. Carolina, we never found such a clean camp, so well fitted and so tasteful. We have been very kindly received. We have a long way to follow our journey (8 months through east US, Canada and west US), hope we'll find many camps like this one.

What a lovely beautiful campground. The sites are wonderfully maintained and level. The campground is well maintained and beautifully landscaped. The bathrooms were well maintained and clean. The full hookups are wonderful. The kids loved the stream/campground. We want to thank Ron for his help. The area is close to nearby attractions. We came back in the evening to the wonderful sound of the water in the stream. I don't think I have ever seen such a well kept campground. if you are looking for a relaxing, friendly campground, this is it. The campground sites are large and easy to back into. The pictures on the web, while beautiful...don't even begin to do this place justice. We will definitely be coming back.

We found you on the internet and decided to spend our 29th anniversary with you. It was great. No cell service!!! But did have WIFI to keep in touch when WE wanted to. And we must agree this is the "prettiest little park this side of Heaven". Also love the fact that there are activities here if you choose to join in. What a pleasant, peaceful experience.

We heard many T@Bbers mention how beautiful this special place is, and we agree - prettiest place this side of Heaven! We are planning a return trip this fall. Of course the bathrooms are a little crowed, but we managed. (This was during a T@B rally and the campground was full of campers that have no onboard bathroom facilities - Ron).

We spent an entire week at Mountain Stream and had a great time. The facilities were kept very clean and everyone was very polite. We would definitely go back when the chance arrives. A small laundry facility would be great - especially when you are there for a week. Otherwise a great time!!!

Our seventh night in the RV & this site tops them all. Beautiful location, nice layout, very neatly kept, friendly & quiet. Last but not least, the least expensive of any by a big margin.

Nice Park, nice site (#28). Would have been more enjoyable without workers next door for 3 days. I did not lay out in the sun because there were 2 strange men a few feet away. Would be nice to turn one site into a dog run with a fenced area - to give them some freedom.
